Prismm alternatives for wedding floor plans and seeing the decor

Prismm, formerly AllSeated and now part of Cvent, is a cloud platform where venues and planners draw floor plans in 2D or 3D, arrange seating and manage guest lists together. People look for another option when they only run a few events a year, when the 3D rendering they hoped for sits on the custom Enterprise plan, or when the real question is what the decorated room will look like rather than where the tables go. Social Tables, Planning Pod, Aisle Planner and EventDraw are other professional layout tools, and Tableplan is a seating chart a couple can buy for one event. VenuePreview is the couple's way to see their own venue decorated in a chosen style and colors.

We make VenuePreview, one of the alternatives below. We compared Prismm and each alternative on what you get, what you send and price, using each vendor's public pages, checked October 13, 2026.

What is Prismm?

Prismm describes itself as a way to "Design in 2D, 3D, or both" with "precision floor plans and templates" and "Real-time collaboration in the cloud". Its wedding page talks about designing floor plans, arranging seating, managing guest lists and collaborating "with couples (and their in-laws!)". It is sold to venue teams, corporate event planners and wedding planners.

Not a decor visualizer for couples: Prismm works from a modeled or scanned 3D space and a floor plan, not from a photo of the venue.

What Prismm does well

Floor plans and seating together

Prismm combines floor plans, seating charts and guest lists, and says you can design a wedding seating chart in the platform.

Built for shared work

Real-time cloud collaboration lets a venue, a planner and the couple work on one layout.

A large object library

The homepage mentions "Design table settings" and "10,000 furniture and design objects".

Where Prismm falls short for seeing your venue decorated

3D rendering is an Enterprise feature

The Cvent pricing page lists 3D rendering only on the custom-priced Enterprise plan, and its FAQ calls Photo-Realistic 3D a customized add-on.

Decor is barely covered

The floor planning page mentions adjusting linen colors; florals, centerpieces, lighting and draping are not mentioned.

The venue has to be modeled first

Prismm recommends 3D scanning early, or entering the space by dimensions and perimeter walls.

Why couples look for a Prismm alternative

  • Paid plans run from $49 to $320 a month, a lot for a couple planning one wedding.
  • Photo-realistic 3D is listed on the custom Enterprise plan only.
  • The free plan is limited to 3 events and 2 diagrams per event, although its FAQ describes a fuller one-event free account.
