SketchUp alternatives for seeing a wedding venue designed
SketchUp is general-purpose 3D modeling software from Trimble, sold per user per year, where you build every wall and object yourself. For a wedding, couples and planners look for something else when modeling the venue from scratch is more work than the decision deserves, or when there is no free plan to try. Planner 5D and Homestyler are lighter 3D design tools, Vectorworks Spotlight is CAD for event and lighting design, a Fiverr 3D artist can model the hall for you. VenuePreview decorates photos of the venue you already have.
We make VenuePreview, one of the alternatives below. We compared SketchUp and each alternative on what you get, what you send and price, using each vendor's public pages, checked October 13, 2026.
